Who I am
This site is run by Lyndsey Longson, trading as Lula Long Art, a sole trader based in Guernsey, Channel Islands. For any question about this notice or your information, email contact@lulalongart.com.
If you buy a print
Print sales are processed entirely through PayPal. When you check out, PayPal collects your name, delivery address, and payment details directly. This site never sees or stores your card or address details.
I do see your name and delivery address through PayPal, because I need them to package, label, and post your print, complete your Certificate of Authenticity, and keep accounting records of the sale. I don't add this information anywhere else, and I don't use it for marketing.
PayPal acts as a separate data controller for the checkout itself. Their handling of your information is governed by PayPal's own privacy policy, not this one.
If you commission a piece
For commissions, I collect your name, email, delivery address, and any details you give me about the artwork directly, by email or message. This is used to agree the commission, create your invoice and certificate, and arrange delivery.
What I use your information for
- Fulfilling your order or commission (printing, packaging, posting)
- Producing your invoice and Certificate of Authenticity
- Meeting my legal bookkeeping and tax obligations
- Responding if you contact me with a question
I don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone beyond what's needed to deliver your order (for example, Royal Mail or Guernsey Post for postage).
How long I keep it
I keep order and invoice records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Outside of that, I don't keep customer details longer than necessary to complete your order.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it (where I'm not required to keep it for tax purposes). Just email contact@lulalongart.com.
I'm registered with Guernsey's Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA), the independent regulator for data protection in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. If you have a concern I haven't resolved, you can contact them at odpa.gg.
